Yes, started from 1910 in Australia Claybourn's mission has always been to be as sustainable and ethical as possible. Its Australian made vintage collection with cotton fabrics is made to last with waterproof wax cottons, oilskins or dry skins which rarely need washing and therefore significantly reduce any waste and chemicals. Our Brisbane factory offers repairs and alterations to help maximize the value, sustainability and experience we provide to our customers.


All Claybourn staff are paid at or above the award wage and its Australian factory is in the process of being accredited as a member of ECA - Ethical Clothing Australia. All its carefully selected worldwide manufacturing partners are required to sign an agreement guaranteeing that there will be no child or forced labor, only highly experienced staff with wages above local minimum wages will be employed and safe working conditions will be ensured for our premium Claybourn products
